Yannick Stark (born October 28, 1990 in Darmstadt ) is a German soccer player . The midfielder is under contract with Dynamo Dresden .

Career

After Stark had played as a teenager in the Darmstadt district for SG Arheilgen and SC Hassia Dieburg, he moved to the youth department of Eintracht Frankfurt . There he played with the A-youth in the U19 Bundesliga South, but already had his first two appearances as a youth player in the first half of the 2008/09 season for the U23 youth team of Eintracht in the Regionalliga Süd . Also eligible to play for the youth in the 2009/10 season, he was a regular in the U23 team under coach Frank Leicht (or from February under Oscar Corrochano ) and played 31 games in the regional league.

Then Stark was signed by the second division team MSV Duisburg for two years, but immediately awarded to the southern regional division SV Darmstadt 98 . With Darmstadt 98, Stark won under Kosta Runjaic after catching up in the second half of the 2010/11 season, the championship in the Regionalliga Süd and rose to the 3rd division . In the penultimate game of the season, in the decisive 2-1 win in the away game against Wormatia Worms , he scored the winning goal. He was voted “Player of the Season” by the readers of the Darmstadt Echoes .

In the summer of 2011, Stark was signed by the second division club FSV Frankfurt for two years after the contract with MSV Duisburg, which ran until 2012, had been terminated. Stark made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga at the start of the season on July 15, 2011 against 1. FC Union Berlin , when coach Hans-Jürgen Boysen called him up on the side of Samil Cinaz in the sixth position. Stark made 29 appearances in his first second division season, and was on the starting line-up 20 times. In the 2012/13 season he scored his first goals for the FSV: first in the first round of the cup against SG Sonnenhof Großaspach , on matchday 21 in the away game against FC Erzgebirge Aue also in the league.

For the 2013/14 season , Stark moved to league competitor TSV 1860 Munich , with whom he signed a contract valid until June 30, 2015. During the winter break of the 2014/15 season , he returned to SV Darmstadt 98. With the Darmstadt team, he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2015 . There he was hardly used, however, whereupon he was loaned to FSV Frankfurt in the third division in the summer of 2016.

On May 6, 2020, the club announced at a digital fan evening that the expiring contract with Stark would not be extended due to a reduction in the squad due to the COVID-19 pandemic . In July 2020 he joined Dynamo Dresden and signed a two-year contract with the third division club.
