Agyemang Diawusie (born February 12, 1998 in Berlin ) is a German soccer player with Ghanaian roots. He has been under contract with SG Dynamo Dresden since July 2020 .
Career
societies
After initially playing in the SV Fortuna Regensburg jersey , Diawusie moved to the youth department of SSV Jahn Regensburg . At the beginning of 2014, he was transferred to the B-Juniors of 1. FC Nürnberg , for whom he scored nine goals in 22 league games in the following year and a half . With this record he also drew the attention of the then second division club RB Leipzig , which signed him free of charge in the summer of 2015. For the Saxons, he played a total of 48 games in the A-Junioren-Bundesliga and scored 19 goals. In 2016 he and the team won the Saxon A-Junior Cup. In addition, he was used three times in Leipzig's second team .
In the summer of 2017 RB Leipzig endowed him with a professional contract until 2020 and gave him for the season 2017/18 to the third division SV Wehen Wiesbaden ., Where he had a strong debut season in professional football with four goals and eleven originals in 35 appearances.
For the 2018/19 season Diawusie did not return to Leipzig, but switched to the second division club FC Ingolstadt 04 , with whom he signed a contract that ran until June 30, 2021. After he had only been on a short assignment until the winter break, he returned to SV Wehen Wiesbaden on loan at the end of January 2019 until the end of the season . Diawusie was used in 14 third division games in the second half of the season, in which he scored two goals and prepared five more.
