Patrick Weihrauch (born March 3, 1994 in Graefelfing ) is a German soccer player who has been under contract with Dynamo Dresden since 2020 .

Career

societies

Weihrauch began playing football at SC Olching and continued at SC Fürstenfeldbruck before moving to the youth department of TSV 1860 Munich in 2007 . There he played three seasons and moved to the youth performance center of FC Bayern Munich for the 2010/11 season . With the U-19 youth team, he won the South / Southwest relay of the A-Youth Bundesliga at the end of the 2011/12 season . In the final round, however, he and the team lost to the A youth team of FC Schalke 04 in the final .

For the 2012/13 season, Weihrauch was promoted to the professional squad. He received a professional contract valid until June 30, 2014. He won the DFL Supercup with the professionals at the beginning of the season without a commitment and at the end of the season, also without a commitment, the triple consisting of championship, cup and Champions League victory. On the first and on the 32nd matchday, Weihrauch sat on the bench at the Bundesliga games against SpVgg Greuther Fürth and Borussia Dortmund , but was not substituted on. In the second team (U-23) he came to 34 missions in the fourth-class Regionalliga Süd , in which he scored eight goals.

Weihrauch was also used in the second team in the 2013/14 season. He was not involved in the UEFA Super Cup win against Chelsea FC , for the FIFA Club World Cup Weihrauch was not selected in the 23-man squad and was therefore not part of the team that won the world championship. From the 2014/15 season he was only part of the second team, but was back in the Bundesliga for a short time in November 2015.

For the season 2016/17 changed incense to the second division aufsteiger Wuerzburg Kickers . He made his debut there on August 14, 2016, when he was substituted on for Anastasios Lagos in the 33rd minute of the game against 1. FC Kaiserslautern . In August 2020, Weihrauch moved to Dynamo Dresden on a free transfer .

National team

Weihrauch has so far played for various DFB youth teams . With the U-17 selection he was runner- up at the 2011 U-17 European Championship. For the U-19 national team , he played five internationals , where he made his debut on August 14, 2012 in Falkirk in the 1-0 victory over the selection of Scotland. He scored his only international goal for this national team on November 14, 2012 in Kehl in a 3-0 win over France, with the goal of the interim 1-0 in the 38th minute.
