Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer (born September 13, 2001 in Berlin ) is a German football player . The striker is under contract with Dynamo Dresden .
Career
Königsdörffer comes from Berlin and played there in his youth at SC Minerva 93 and SC Charlottenburg . At the age of thirteen he was accepted into the Hertha BSC youth performance center , where he played in the A and B junior leagues . In the U17 he was trained by the former Hertha player and later U23 coach Andreas Neuendorf . The striker was able to gain international experience for the first time in the UEFA Youth League in a 1-0 win over the U19s of FK Qəbələ .
For the 2019/20 season, Königsdörffer moved to Dynamo Dresden , where he received a one-year contract and became a reliable regular player. As a reward for his achievements, he was invited by selection trainer Marc-Patrick Meister to a U19 perspective course at the DFB in October 2019 and played four games in a national cup.
Under the new head coach Markus Kauczinski , the attacker and his A-youth strike partner Simon Gollnack were in the professional squad for the first time on the 18th matchday of the second division season 2019/20 due to injuries to several players - including the offensive forces Alexander Jeremejeff and René Klingenburg . At the 0: 2 in Nuremberg , Königsdörffer was substituted on 20 minutes before the end of the game, in contrast to Gollnack. In November 2019, the offensive player was used during the international break in a test match against Chemnitzer FC . The A-Junior season , which was not played to the end due to the COVID-19 pandemic , finished Königsdörffer with Dynamo in the middle of the table and scored 13 goals this season.
