Stefan Kutschke (born November 3, 1988 in Dresden ) is a German football player . He has been under contract with FC Ingolstadt 04 since July 2017 .

Career

Kutschke first went through the youth department of SSV Turbine Dresden and then that of Sportfreunde 01 Dresden-Nord . In 2005 he joined the FV Dresden 06 Laubegast and completed his first assignment in the men's area for the club. From January 2007 he played for half a year in the A-youth of Dynamo Dresden before he returned to the national division FV Laubegast in the summer . In the following season he was its most successful goalscorer. He then moved to the Regionalliga Nord for SV Babelsberg 03 in 2008 and rose to the 3rd division with the team in 2010 . He then moved to regional league promoted RB Leipzig in 2010 and played there for three years. In the 2012/13 season , Kutschke contributed ten goals, two of them in the relegation games, to Leipzig's promotion to the third division.

For the 2013/14 season , Kutschke moved to the Bundesliga for VfL Wolfsburg on a free transfer . In his first Bundesliga game for VfL against FC Schalke 04 , he scored a goal. However, he did not make a breakthrough, only seven more Bundesliga appearances followed. He left the club after a year and joined the Bundesliga promoted SC Paderborn 07 for the 2014/15 season , with whom he was directly relegated. In the summer of 2015 he moved to the new league competitor 1. FC Nürnberg .

At the beginning of winter preparations in 2016, he was awarded to the then third division team Dynamo Dresden in his hometown until June 2017 . In the remainder of the 2015/16 season , Kutschke was able to contribute three goals in 15 missions for promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga . In the 2016/17 season he scored 16 goals in 32 appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga, placing him in third place in the list of goalscorers behind Simon Terodde and Martin Harnik .

In the fan-led vote for the cup hero of the 2016/17 season , Kutschke u. a. against Ousmane Dembélé . He is thus included in the DFB Cup Walk of Fame, which was launched by DFB , Sport1 and Volkswagen in 2013/14.

For the 2017/18 season , Kutschke moved within the 2nd Bundesliga to relegated FC Ingolstadt 04 , with whom he received a contract until June 30, 2021. There he made his debut in the 1-0 defeat against 1. FC Union Berlin on July 29, 2017, the first matchday of that season. He scored his first goal for Ingolstadt on August 13, 2017, when he scored 2-1 with a penalty in the first round of the 2017/18 DFB Cup against TSV 1860 Munich . For the third division season 2019/20 the regular player was appointed team captain after relegation from the new head coach Jeff Saibene .
