Nico Antonitsch (born September 30, 1991 in Vienna ) is an Austrian soccer player who is under contract with FC Ingolstadt 04 in Germany .

Career

Antonitsch began his career at ASV Hohenau in Lower Austria . After playing for SV Garsten, he moved to AKA Linz. In 2010 he moved to the regional league club Union St. Florian . He made his debut against SK Austria Klagenfurt . In 2012 he moved to the professional club Kapfenberger SV . He made his debut on matchday two against SV Horn . After a year in Styria , he moved back to Lower Austria in 2013, to SV Horn. He made his debut against SCR Altach . In the summer of 2015 he moved to the Bundesliga for SV Ried for the first time . He made his Bundesliga debut on matchday 7 against SV Grödig .

After relegation from the Bundesliga, he moved to the third-class LASK Juniors OÖ for the 2017/18 season . In August 2017 he moved to Germany to the third division club FSV Zwickau , with whom he received a contract that was valid until June 2018 and quickly became a regular player. After an extension for another year, the FSV and Antonitsch agreed in May 2019 on an amicable separation at the end of the season.

The Austrian then switched to league competitor FC Ingolstadt 04 on matchday 7 of the 2019/20 third division season , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2020.
