Career

society

All that is known about Keller's youth is that the native of Munich was trained in football at SpVgg Unterhaching in the area surrounding the Bavarian capital.

In summer 2017 he moved to FC Ingolstadt 04 , with whose A-youth he played in the DFB Junior Cup , but was eliminated in the round of 16 against SV Sandhausen . At the end of the season, Ingolstadt's U19s were promoted to the A-Juniors Bundesliga with Keller as champions . The central defender was already firmly integrated into the squad of the second team for the 2018/19 regional league season and played 26 times for them. Due to the descent of the professionals from the 2nd Bundesliga , the reserve was forced to relegate to the Bayern League .

Under the new head coach Jeff Saibene , Keller, who had been equipped with a professional contract valid until June 2021 after relegation, got the chance to prove himself in the first team.

National team

In September 2019 national coach Manuel Baum Keller nominated for the German U20 and thus for the first time for a junior national team of the DFB .
