Fabijan Buntić (born February 24, 1997 in Stuttgart ) is a German - Croatian soccer goalkeeper who is currently under contract with FC Ingolstadt 04 .

Career

Buntić played in the youth division of VfB Stuttgart from 2012 and was part of the VfB third division team several times in the spring of 2016 without being used. In the summer of 2016 he moved to the second division club FC Ingolstadt 04 . There he was initially in goal for the 2nd team in the Regionalliga Bayern . He made his professional football debut on matchday 15 of the 2018/19 second division against Hamburger SV when he was appointed to the starting line-up by interim coach Roberto Pätzold . The Schanzer lost 1: 2. Even under successor Jens Keller , Buntić was given preference over the more experienced competitors Philipp Heerwagen and Marco Knaller in the following three games . At the end of the season, FC Ingolstadt was relegated from the second division. For the 2019/20 third division season , Buntić was the regular goalkeeper at FCI.

National team

From 2014 to 2016, Buntić played a total of 13 games for Croatian junior national teams in the U18 and U19 age groups.
