Bjørn Paulsen (born July 2, 1991 in Augustenborg ) is a Danish football player. He is under contract with FC Ingolstadt 04 .

Career

Paulsen played from 2010 in the professional team of SønderjyskE Fodbold in the super league . In his first season he played 21 games. In the following season he was under the new coach Lars Søndergaard 19 times on the field. From the 2012/13 season he developed into one of the team's most important players and became vice-captain in 2013. In 2015 he moved to league competitor Esbjerg fB . Paulsen signed a five-year contract. During the winter break of the 2016/17 season, coach Colin Todd was at the bottom of the table and Paulsen was sold to the Swedish club Hammarby IF in January 2017 . After two years, he moved to the German 2nd Bundesliga for FC Ingolstadt 04 in January 2019 . With the club he was relegated to the 3rd division.
