Robert Jendrusch (born May 28, 1996 in Schlema ) is a German soccer goalkeeper who is under contract with FC Ingolstadt 04 .
Career
Jendrusch began his career as a footballer in 2001 at SV Auerhammer in Aue . After a year in the youth of the club, he moved to FC Erzgebirge Aue , where he went through all youth teams in a row. As a youth player, he made his debut on March 16, 2014 in the club's second team in the 2-0 defeat by Energie Cottbus's second team under coach Robin Lenk .
For the 2015/16 season, Jendrusch was accepted into the first team of Erzgebirge Aue and, with Mario Seidel, formed the replacement duo for goalkeeper Martin Männel in the third division's squad. He played his first game for the first team on November 15, 2015 in the 8-0 win in the Sachsenpokal against SG Taucha 99. He made his debut in the 3rd division under coach Pavel Dotchev on May 14, 2016 in the 3rd division. League in a 3-0 home win against Preußen Münster . He made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga on September 21, 2016 due to an injury to regular goalkeeper Männel . In the 1-1 draw against Arminia Bielefeld , he was substituted on for the injured man in the 40th minute. After he could not convince in the following games and made a few mistakes, the Erzgebirge club signed Daniel Haas , who was previously without a club . Jendrusch then moved back into the second link. After Mannnel had recovered, Jendrusch and Daniel Haas again formed the substitute duo for the regular goalkeeper, so he made two more appearances in the following season 2018/19 and another appearance for the Auer in the 2. Bundesliga.
After his contract expired, the Saxon moved a league lower to last year's relegation participant FC Ingolstadt 04 , whose substitute goalkeeper Marco Knaller had left the club.
