Gordon Büch (born October 25, 1995 in Berlin ) is a German football player . The left-back is under contract with FC Ingolstadt 04 .

Career

Born in Berlin, Büch was trained in his hometown at Tennis Borussia and Hertha Zehlendorf . Then, at the age of seventeen, he moved to FC Ingolstadt 04 on the recommendation of Ersin Demir , for whose U19 he was active for another year before he was accepted into the regional league squad in 2013/14 . In two years he played fifty times in central defense for the second team of Upper Bavaria , but could not recommend himself there for the professionals.

In the summer of 2016, he was drawn to league competitor TSV Buchbach . In 60 competitive games, Büch was a regular for the village club on the field, but only played with the team to stay up. With the U23 from Hertha BSC , the defender played for the third division promotion in the 2018/19 regional league season, but the team only finished fourth in the end; Even with the blue-whites, the jump into the first team did not succeed.

He returned to Ingolstadt in summer 2019, when he was relegated to the second division and received a contract that was valid until June 2021. Büch then came on the 10th matchday in the 0-0 against SpVgg Unterhaching under head coach Jeff Saibene from the start and for the first time in professional football and was quickly noticed as a capable flanker and standard shooter. After three more start-up appearances, the defender injured his cruciate ligament and was out for months.
