Rico Preißinger (born July 21, 1996 in Münchberg ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Rico Preißinger spent his first years as a youth footballer at 1. FC Stammbach, a club from the Hof district . In 2008 he moved to the youth department of 1. FC Nürnberg , for whose U-17 and U-19 Bundesliga teams he then played. Preißinger also completed his first senior year with the "Club": In the 2015/16 season he made 31 appearances for the Nuremberg Regional League second representative and scored with the meanwhile 1-1 in the 2-2 draw against the second team of TSV 1860 Munich his first goal.

At times Preißinger was also the captain of the Nuremberg regional league representation, which he left in the summer of 2016 to move to VfR Aalen in the third division . He made his professional debut on July 30th, 2016, when coach Peter Vollmann put him in the starting line-up for the season opener at SV Wehen Wiesbaden . Aalen won the game 2-1. In the summer of 2018 he moved to the second division promoted 1. FC Magdeburg .
