Tobias Müller (born July 8, 1994 ) is a German soccer player . He is mostly used in central defense and has been under contract with 1. FC Magdeburg since 2018 .

Career

After moving from Germania Brötzingen to the youth department of FC Nöttingen in 2010 , he went through all youth teams there and rose to the first team of Nöttingen in the 2013/14 season, which played in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg . There he made his debut in the jersey of FC Nöttingen on August 16, 2013 and was substituted on by coach Michael Wittwer in the 46th minute for Yasin Ozan . On the last day of the season he was able to score his first goal in the men's area. In the 5: 2 win against Kehler FV , he scored the interim 5: 1 in the 70th minute.

With the withdrawal of TSV Grunbach , he qualified with FC Nöttingen in third place for the promotion games to the Regionalliga Südwest . With a 0-0 win in the first leg and a 1-0 win in the second leg, FC Nöttingen secured promotion to the regional league. Tobias Müller made his debut in the Regionalliga Südwest on August 2, 2014 in the 1: 4 defeat against SV Elversberg on the first match day. On the fourth day of the match he celebrated his first goal in the regional league and, in the 2: 4 defeat against the second team from 1899 Hoffenheim, scored the interim 1: 1 equalizer in the 24th minute.

After FC Nöttingen was relegated directly from the Regionalliga after the 2014/15 season , Tobias Müller joined the second team of SC Freiburg . After the promotion he left Freiburg and joined the third division Hallescher FC . In the 3rd division he made his professional debut on August 6, 2017 in a 3-3 draw against VfL Osnabrück . From coach Rico Schmitt he came on in the 87th minute for Marvin Ajani .

In 2018, he joined the then newly in the 2nd Bundesliga ascended 1. FC Magdeburg . There he had a regular place and made his second division debut on matchday 1, August 5, 2018 against FC St. Pauli (1: 2). In the second division season Müller came to a total of 29 missions without scoring. After relegation to the third division , Müller stayed with FCM .
