Marvin Ajani (born October 4, 1993 in Ratingen ) is a German - Nigerian soccer player . He has been under contract with SV Wehen Wiesbaden since the 2019/20 season .

Career

In 2012 Ajani moved from the U-19s to the second team at Alemannia Aachen . He made his debut on the first match day of the Middle Rhine League in a 1-1 draw against SC Brühl 06/45 . Ajani and Philipp Simon made their debut for the first team on March 23, 2013 in the third division game against Wacker Burghausen , Aachen lost the game 2-0. Ajani moved to league competitor Fortuna Düsseldorf in the summer of 2014 .

There he played mainly with the 2nd team in the Regionalliga West . However, Ajani came to a brief assignment with the professional team. On April 25, 2015, the 30th matchday, he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga . In the 1-1 draw at home against TSV 1860 Munich , Ajani came into play for Heinrich Schmidtgal in the 83rd minute .

For the 2016/17 season Ajani moved to the 3rd division for Halleschen FC , where he quickly became a regular player. In his last season, 2018/19 , the defender played with Halle for promotion to the second division, the club finished just under fourth.

The SV Wehen Wiesbaden , who had been promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga , finally signed Ajani in spring 2019, he received a two-year contract.
