Stefan Aigner (born August 20, 1987 in Munich ) is a German soccer player . He is under contract with SV Wehen Wiesbaden .
Career
Youth in Munich
In 1991 Aigner started playing football on Grünwalder Strasse in Munich. Until 2006 he went through all youth teams of TSV 1860 Munich . After the A-youth he joined the second division club Wacker Burghausen .
Wacker Burghausen
There he came on August 11, 2006 in his first game of the season against Karlsruher SC for his first professional appearance. During the entire 2006/07 season he played in 28 league games, scoring five goals. In addition, he played in the DFB Cup three times and scored one goal.
Arminia Bielefeld
After the descent of SV Wacker Burghausen, he moved to Bielefeld in the summer of 2007 . There he initially only played in the second team in the major league. On September 14, 2008, he finally came to the game at VfL Bochum for his first Bundesliga appearance . Aigner was substituted on a total of five times by winter, with 33 minutes of playing time. In the second representation of Arminia he was used 24 times from summer 2007 to the winter break of 2008/09, scoring two goals.
Return to TSV 1860 Munich
In January 2009 Aigner returned to 1860 Munich, whose supporter he has been since childhood. He describes himself as a "fan on the pitch". In the 2009/10 season he was the internal top scorer with eight goals ahead of strikers Benjamin Lauth and Peniel Mlapa . After the end of the season he was voted lion of the season by the fans of TSV 1860 Munich .
In August 2010, VfB Stuttgart showed interest in signing Aigner, but he remained in Munich. On October 23, in the game against Arminia Bielefeld , he suffered a rupture of the syndesmosis ligament and was out for several weeks. In the second half of the season he was used in all games, in total he played 27 times for TSV in the 2010/11 season and was involved in ten goals. By the winter break of the 2011/12 season , he played in 20 of 21 competitive games, scoring seven goals and preparing seven more.
In January 2012, Aigner declared that he no longer wanted to extend his contract, which was running out at the end of the season. He named public disagreements between the presidium of the association and the investor Hasan Ismaik as decisive . With eleven goals, he and Benny Lauth finished second on the internal goalscorer list behind Kevin Volland . Aigner played a total of 96 games in the 2nd Bundesliga for 1860 Munich from 2009 to 2012, in which he scored 23 goals. He played in the cup five times and scored two goals.
Change to Frankfurt
For the season 2012/13 he undertook the Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt . With nine goals this season he cut behind Alex Meier (16 goals) as the second best scorer in his team, who qualified sixth for the play-offs for a place in the Europa League . His contract with Eintracht Frankfurt ran until 2018.
Another return to TSV 1860 Munich
In July 2016, Aigner returned to TSV 1860 Munich, which provided him with a contract that ran until June 30, 2020. Coach Kosta Runjaić appointed him before the season 2016/17 the team captain . After relegation with the Lions , Aigner left the club after a year, as his contract was no longer valid after not receiving a license for the 3rd division .
Change to the USA
At the end of July 2017, Aigner moved to the USA for the Colorado Rapids . He received the MLS - Franchise from Commerce City , Colorado a contract until December 31, 2020. After an initially good start of the season fell Aigner on the new manager Anthony Hudson out of favor and came in 2018 only eleven minutes of play. He then agreed with the Colorado Rapids in June 2018 to terminate the current contract immediately.
KFC Uerdingen
For the season 2018/19 changed Aigner for KFC Uerdingen after he signed a three-year contract with the Krefeldern. In 33 league games he scored six goals and was at times team captain.
SV Wehen Wiesbaden
SV Wehen Wiesbaden , who had been promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga , signed the striker before the 6th matchday of the 2019/20 season and provided him with a one-year contract.
Private life
On February 29, 2016, Aigner became the father of a son.
