Benedikt Röcker (born November 19, 1989 in Bietigheim-Bissingen ) is a German football player . He is the cousin of Robin and Julian Schuster .

Career

Röcker played in his youth at FV Löchgau . There he played in the 2008/09 season for the first team in the national league. In 2009 he moved to the Regionalliga Süd for SG Sonnenhof Großaspach . In October 2009 he won the DFB country cup with the Württemberg selection .

On January 31, 2011, Röcker moved to the second team at VfB Stuttgart . He made his professional debut on February 22, 2011 in a catch-up game on the 20th match day of the 2010/11 season for VfB Stuttgart II in the 3rd professional league against 1. FC Heidenheim .

On December 6, 2012, Röcker made his competitive debut for the first team of VfB Stuttgart in the UEFA Europa League in the 2012/13 group stage against Molde FK . Nine days later, he played his first Bundesliga game with VfB against 1. FSV Mainz 05 on matchday 17 of the 2012/13 season . On January 10, 2013, he signed a licensed player contract with VfB Stuttgart, dated until the end of June 2015.

On January 10, 2014, Röcker moved to SpVgg Greuther Fürth . He played his first appearance in the 2nd division on February 14th in the home game against Karlsruher SC . He was on the pitch from the start and scored his first goal in that game to make it 1-1.

For the 2016/17 season , Röcker moved to the Danish first division club Brøndby IF . After three years with Brøndby IF in Brøndby Kommune , he moved back to Germany in the summer of 2019 and joined the second division SV Wehen Wiesbaden .
