Phillip Tietz (born July 9, 1997 in Braunschweig ) is a German soccer player . The striker has been active for SV Wehen Wiesbaden from the 2nd Bundesliga since the 2019/20 season .

Career

societies

In 2011 Tietz moved from the JSG Okertal in Schwülper to the youth department of Eintracht Braunschweig . There he moved up for the 2015/16 season to the second team that plays in the Regionalliga Nord . In his debut on October 10, 2015, he scored the goal to make it 3-1 in the home game against VfV 06 Hildesheim .

Tietz has been in the first team's squad since February 2016. On February 28, 2016, he made his debut in a 0-0 draw against FSV Frankfurt in the 2nd Bundesliga . He scored his first goal on March 18, 2016, when he lost 3-1 to 1. FC Union Berlin , and at the age of 18 and 253 days he was the youngest goalscorer in Braunschweig in the 2nd Bundesliga.

On April 6, 2016, Tietz signed his first professional contract in Braunschweig. During the winter break of the 2017/18 season , Tietz moved to third division club SC Paderborn 07 , with whom he signed a contract that ran until June 30, 2020. The 2018/19 season he plays on loan at FC Carl Zeiss Jena . With the Thuringians he was the club's most successful goalscorer with 11 goals this season. Furthermore, on the 15th matchday of the season, the Kicker-Sportmagazin elected him after the 3-2 win at SV Wehen Wiesbaden , in which he scored 2 goals, as the 3rd league player of the matchday .

After the season, the loan with Jena ended. Tietz also dissolved his contract with SC Paderborn and joined the promoted team in the 2nd Bundesliga , SV Wehen Wiesbaden .

National team

On October 7, 2016, Tietz played for the German U20 national team for the first time in the 1: 3 defeat against England , after being substituted on for Fabian Reese in the 89th minute .

Personal

Tietz grew up in Schwülper near Braunschweig opposite the house of his future coach Torsten Lieberknecht . He attended the integrated comprehensive school Franzsches Feld , which he finished with the secondary school certificate.
