Sascha Mockenhaupt (born September 10, 1991 in Kirchen , Rhineland-Palatinate ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Mockenhaupt got into the youth department of Bayer 04 Leverkusen via JSG Weitefeld before moving to SG 06 Betzdorf . In 2012 he became part of the second team of 1. FCK. In the 2013/14 season he was part of the professional team several times and was substituted on for Kevin Stöger in the 93rd minute on April 20, 2014 in a 3-2 home win against FSV Frankfurt . In summer 2014 he moved to VfR Aalen . After VfR Aalen was relegated to the 3rd soccer league and played 25 games, he signed again with 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the summer of 2015. In August 2016 he moved to the Norwegian first division club FK Bodø / Glimt . He has been playing for SV Wehen Wiesbaden since January 4, 2017 , where he initially signed until summer 2018. After Mockenhaupt was able to establish himself as a regular player there and convince with good performances, the contract was extended ahead of time until 2021. In the 2018/19 season he rose from the 3rd division to the 2nd Bundesliga with Wehen Wiesbaden.
