Ibrahima "Ibo" Traoré (born April 21, 1988 in Villepinte , France ) is a Guinean - French football player . The attacker has been playing in Germany since 2007 and has been under contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach since 2014 . His parents come from Guinea , which is why he has both French and Guinean citizenship and thus plays for the Guinean national team.

Youth in France

The winger , who can also be used in central midfield, started at CAP Charenton in Charenton-le-Pont with the football games . He later moved to Levallois SC in Levallois-Perret . Hertha BSC

In the relegation game for promotion to the first division, Traoré was sent off after a strangulation attack against Juri Judt, who was lying on the ground, and Augsburg missed promotion.

VfB Stuttgart

For the 2011/12 season , VfB Stuttgart signed Traoré free of charge. He signed a contract valid until June 30, 2014.

Borussia Monchengladbach

For the 2014/15 season , Traoré moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach after his contract in Stuttgart had expired . His contract runs until 2021.

National team

In August 2010 Ibrahima Traoré was nominated for the first time for the senior team of Guinea . In his international debut, he scored in Marignane on August 11, 2010 for Guinea against Mali to make it 2-0. On October 8, 2011, Traoré scored in the last group match of Group B of the 2012 African Cup of Nations qualification against Nigeria in the twelfth minute of stoppage time to make it 2-2, securing Guinea's qualification for the tournament in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea . There he played in all group D group matches and scored the 4-1 in the 6-1 win over Botswana on January 28, 2012.
