Jürgen Täuber (born April 12, 1955 in Erlangen) is a former German soccer player . His brothers Klaus (* 1958) and Stephan (* 1966) also played in the Bundesliga . So you are the only "brother trio" in German professional football to date.
Jürgen Täuber and his younger brother Klaus moved from SpVgg Erlangen to 1. FC Nürnberg in 1976 for DM 30,000 , which marked the beginning of their professional career. Jürgen Täber's first appearance at the then second division was on August 28, 1976 against SSV Jahn Regensburg (result 5: 1). After a total of two missions in the first half of the season, regular missions followed in the second half of the season (initially as a substitute for the suspended Peter Stocker ). At the beginning of the following season, however, an intestinal infection and subsequent circulatory disease threw him back, but in the second half of the season he fought his way back to his regular place. At the end of the season, the "club" was in second place in the table - and thus participated in the relegation to the Bundesliga. Here they prevailed against Bundesliga club Rot-Weiss Essen (1: 0 and 2: 2) and were thus promoted. There followed a descent and an ascent. After the preliminary round of the Bundesliga season 1980/81 he was awarded to FC Schalke 04 . After half a year and all 17 back round matches that he had played for Schalke, he returned to Nuremberg. There he was able to record another success by reaching the DFB Cup final in 1982 . In 1984 he was relegated with the Franks with 14:54 points from the Bundesliga. Täuber left the club and played for FC Bamberg in the Bavarian League in 1984/85 . During the following season he moved to league competitor TSV 1860 Munich , which he left again in the summer of 1986 to join SpVgg Starnberg .
After his career as a soccer player, he started working in the real estate industry. During active times, Täuber, who had no training, occasionally helped out in the family shops.
