The FC Starnberg in 1992 was a football club in the Upper Bavarian district town Starnberg . It was founded in March 1992 through the merger of SpVgg Starnberg with the football department of FT Starnberg 09 . During the nine years of its existence, the club was a member of the Bayern League without interruption. The best placings were two third places in the 1994/95 and 1996/97 seasons. In the summer of 2001, the club was relegated from the Bayern League. The club then disbanded and the footballers joined the FT Starnberg 09 again.

SpVgg Starnberg
The Starnberg gaming association was founded in 1912. Their club colors were blue and white. From 1975 to 1981 and again from 1986, the club played in the southern relay of the Bavarian State League , until it was promoted to the Bavarian League in 1989. As table thirteenth of the 1989/90 season , the SpVgg rose immediately back to the national league. In 1992, the SpVgg became champions of the southern season of the Landesliga Süd and rose again to the Bayernliga. The right to start in the Bayern League for the 1992/93 season went to FC Starnberg. After the dissolution of FC Starnberg in 2001, the game association was not re-established.
FT Starnberg 09
The Starnberg 09 Free Gymnastics Association was founded on May 9, 1909. The highest leagues, which reached the club were the Bezirksoberliga Upper Bavaria and the Bezirksliga Oberbayern-Süd. The club's footballers merged with SpVgg Starnberg in 1992 to form FC Starnberg . After its dissolution in 2001, they returned to FT Starnberg, which took over the starting place for FC Starnberg in the regional league. In the following years, the FT Starnberg shuttled between the regional league, district upper league and district league until the club was relegated to the district league in 2014, the district class in 2015 and the C-class in 2016. After three games in the 2017/18 season, the club stopped its men's team.
