Bernd Santl (born January 8, 1970 in Wolfratshausen ) is a German football player .
Career
Bernd Santl came to SpVgg Unterhaching in 1991 via FC Wacker Munich (1987–1990) and FC Starnberg (1990–1991) , where he played his first professional games in the 2nd Bundesliga in 1992 . From 1994 to 1996 he played for TSV Vestenbergsgreuth .
At the beginning of the 1996/97 season he was in the second division squad of 1. FC Kaiserslautern , but did not play a game for the Palatinate and moved to the Stuttgarter Kickers in September , where he stayed until 1999. He then moved to the regional league for FC Sachsen Leipzig and back to FC Starnberg a year later.
From 2001 Santl was player-coach at various lower-class clubs. In the 2009/10 season he was player-coach at VfL Visselhövede . In April 2012 he took up the post of sporting director at Rotenburger SV . After helping out as an interim coach at VfL Visselhövede in 2014, he has been the coach of the second team at Rotenburger SV since 2016.
