Emil Koepplinger
Emil Köpplinger (born December 19, 1897 in Nuremberg , † July 29, 1988 ) was a German football player.
Career
societies
Köpplinger belonged to 1. FC Nürnberg from 1909 to 1928 and always played first-class - under changing names of the leagues. The midfielder's first regional successes began in the game year 1916, but his greatest were the five German championships, where he only participated in finals on June 12, 1927 , including the three finals. He also played the finals on June 18 and August 6, 1922, but after two undecided encounters with Hamburger SV , the latter renounced the title because the replay had to be canceled by referee Peco Bauwens due to the three injured Nuremberg players who were eliminated .
National team
He played his only international match for the senior national team on October 23, 1927 in Hamburg in a 6-2 win - after 2-0 at halftime - over the national team of Norway .
