South German football championship 1913/14

The Southern German football championship 1915/16 of the Süddeutsche Football Association won the 1. FC Nuremberg by a 4: 1 victory in the final against FC Pfalz Ludwigshafen . This was the first win of the southern German soccer championship for the Nuremberg. However , they were not allowed to take part in the German football championship , as it was not held due to the First World War .

Mode and overview

After no southern German soccer championship was held last season, but the game was limited to local leagues, there were elimination games in each of the four districts this season to determine the participants in the southern German soccer final.
