Christian Dingert (born July 14, 1980 in Thallichtenberg ) is a German football referee .

Dingert has been a DFB referee since 2002 . He whistles for TSG Burglichtenberg and has directed games in the 2nd Bundesliga since 2004. As an assistant in the Bundesliga he was on the line for a long time in Wolfgang Stark's team , in his last season as assistant referee he supported Manuel Gräfe . In the 2006/07 season he also assisted in a Champions League match and a UEFA Cup match. In June 2010 he was nominated as a Bundesliga referee by the DFB and has since been used in more than 120 matches.

Dingert made his debut on September 12, 2010 in the game 1. FC Köln against FC St. Pauli . On May 11, 2012, he headed the relegation game between SSV Jahn Regensburg and Karlsruher SC , which ended 1: 1.

Dingert has been a FIFA referee alongside Tobias Welz since 2013 . They replaced Knut Kircher and Michael Weiner , who voluntarily retired as FIFA referees at the end of 2012.

Dingert lives in Lebecksmühle near Kaiserslautern . He has been married since 2008 and has a degree in administration by profession .
