Sören Storks (born November 8, 1986 in Velen ) is a German football referee .

Career

Storks, who whistles for VfL Ramsdorf and works as a full-time master carpenter with the planning of construction sites, lives in Ramsdorf .

After Storks led a total of 29 games in the third division since the 2012/13 season , he was used in the second division from the 2015/16 season . He has been used in the Bundesliga since the 2017/18 season . In addition to Sören Storks, Bibiana Steinhaus , Sven Jablonski and Martin Petersen have been promoted to three other referees in the Bundesliga, which increased the number of referees in this division from 23 to 24. He made his first Bundesliga appearance on August 25, 2017 in the game 1. FC Köln against Hamburger SV , when he took over for the injured Felix Brych in the second half . The first regular schedule for a Bundesliga game was Borussia Mönchengladbach's game against VfB Stuttgart on September 19, 2017 .
