Josef Nachtigall (born September 1, 1904 in Düsseldorf , † September 11, 1964 ) was a German football player .

Career

Nachtigall belonged to Fortuna Düsseldorf , for whom he played point games from 1934 to 1937 in the Gauliga Niederrhein , in one of initially 16, later increased to 23 Gauligen at the time of National Socialism as the uniform top division in the German Reich .

During his club membership he won the Gaume Championship twice.
