In the 1944/45 season, the club played in Group 1 of the Gauliga Württemberg .

In the 1950s, 1. FC Eislingen played in the third-class 1st amateur league Württemberg and experienced its most successful period. After the club's relegation from the top amateur class in 1961, the team commuted between the 1st and 2nd amateur league in the 1960s and 70s. FC Eislingen slipped into the national league. With the state league championship in the 2004/05 season, they were promoted to the Württemberg association league , but were relegated from the FCE after just one season. After further relegation in 2012, they played in the Neckar / Fils district league until 2014, before returning to the regional league in 2016, but only for one season.
