The 1. FC Lola ( complete:. 1. Football Club Lockstedter camp from 1948 eV ) is a sports club from Hohenlockstedt in Steinburg . The first soccer team played for two years in the highest amateur league in Schleswig-Holstein .

history

The name Lola goes back to Lockstedter Lager , a soldier town built in 1927. In the same year the TSV Lola was founded, which received a football department after the end of the Second World War . The former wanted to employ a full-time coach , which led to a dispute with the club's management. As a consequence, the footballers split off as 1. FC Lockstedter Lager in 1948 .

In 1953 Lola became champion of the district class West and made the leap into the Schleswig-Holstein state league via promotion round . The team consisted mostly of expellees from Upper Silesia . After two years the descent followed, which was followed by the renaming in Lola Hohenlockstedt. Several years followed in the 2nd Amateur League West , where Lola was runner-up in 1960 and 1962, respectively. In 1968 the team missed the newly created association league .

Lola then became an elevator team between the district and district league, before being promoted to the state league in 1991 . There the team only reached midfield and was relegated in 1996. Three years later, the qualification for the newly created regional league West succeeded before it went down to the district class B for the club .
