history
The first state sports club in Salzburg was founded in March 1920 by the teacher Hermann Rasp. The club had its greatest successes in football in the 1960s, when it was promoted twice - in 1960 and 1964 - to Austria's second-highest division, the Regionalliga (West), but both times had to leave the class after only one season. Since 1990 the club has belonged to the highest Salzburg amateur league, the 1st regional league, with a short break in 2004. In 2007 the Oberndorfer SK had to enter the 2nd regional league again and rose one league lower in the following year. In the 2012/13 season the 1. Oberndorfer SK rose to second in the first class north behind SV Seekirchen 1b back into the 2. LandesLiga Nord. In 2014 OSK rose again as a champion in the 1st regional league.
