The 1000 Clubzine was a magazine from Berlin that dealt with the techno and club scene . It appeared for the first time in November 1991 and was next to the front page the first style-defining magazine of the then young music and party culture.

The 1000 Clubzine contained information about Berlin party, radio and television dates, artists and music publications of the scene, as well as party pictures and free classified ads. Typography and layout were characterized by anarchistic combinations of text and graphics from the typical form of expression of the early techno scene and had a lasting influence. The first editions were monochrome in blue, green or red and later in two colors.

The 1000 Clubzine appeared for the first time in November 1991 and, apart from a few irregularities, came out with a monthly print run of 6,000, which was increased to 10,000 for the Chromapark techno art exhibition . The format measured 39 × 54 folded to 13 × 27 centimeters . Due to financial difficulties, there were no expenses in January, February and October 1994. The magazine was distributed free of charge in clubs, bars and trendy shops and was also available through a subscription. The editorial office was located at Mariendorfer Damm 35 D. The publisher and editor-in-chief was Stefan Schwanke, who at times also worked for Frontpage, Mayday , Love Parade , Space Agency , Planet and E-Werk . The magazine was discontinued in the mid-1990s.

The magazine organized various parties under the name "RaveXplosion" in the clubs whale , vault , Turbine, Exit, Climax and Magic Balloon and presented the old school - Techno series of events "Back To Basics".
