113 (band)
113 is a French hip-hop group with African and Caribbean roots, which was founded in the Parisian banlieue (more precisely Vitry-sur-Seine ) and whose members come from the north and west of Africa and the island of Guadeloupe . Her most famous song is Tonton du Bled - Uncle from the "Land" (bled in Maghrebian Arabic).
The name of the band comes from the name of the building where the group spent much of their youth.
controversy
In November 2005, a UMP MP , François Grosdidier, listed the group in his complaint against rap music, which he said would propagate racism and hatred. Many politicians from left circles accused him at the time of only wanting to enforce one form of censorship.
