The 122-mm cannon M1931 / 37 (A-19) ( Russian 122-мм пушка обр. 1931/37 гг. (А-19) ) was a Soviet heavy field cannon with a caliber of 121.92 mm, which was used during used during World War II . It was a modernization of the Soviet 122-mm cannon M1931 (A-19) , the responsible chief designer was FF Petrov . A total of about 2450 copies were made. 122mm cannon M1931 / 37 was a Red Army designation and A-19 was another equivalent designation of the original developer, Orudijno-Arsenalni Trest .
