The 122-mm howitzer M1910 / 30 ( Russian 122-мм гаубица обр. 1910/30 гг. ) Was a Soviet medium field howitzer with a caliber of 121.92 mm that was used during World War II . It was a modernization of the Russian M1910 122mm howitzer that was used during the First World War .

Others

Despite the great age of the M 1910/30 , the Wehrmacht could not afford to do without the guns captured during the attack on the Soviet Union . On the German side they were put into service under the designation 12.2 cm light field howitzer 388 (r) (r for Russian). The gun was used in particular on the Atlantic Wall , but also in divisions on the Eastern Front and in the Balkans.
