The 2nd Jäger Battalion was an association of the Bavarian Army .

history

The 5th Jäger Battalion was renamed the 2nd Jäger Battalion on October 1, 1878. It had its garrison in Aschaffenburg . The 2nd Jäger Battalion was incorporated on October 1, 1890 as the 2nd Battalion of the 19th Infantry Regiment .
