2MASS J05352184−0546085 (also 2M0535−05 for short ) is a double system that can be changed in coverage , the two components of which are brown dwarfs . It is the only known system of its kind and is located in the Orion Nebula in the constellation of the same name at a distance of around 1500 light years. The two objects orbit each other with a period of 9.78 days. This constellation allows very precise measurements of the masses and radii of the components.
