3-bank group

The 3-Banken-Gruppe is a loose merger of three Austrian credit institutions that was formed in 1997 .

The bank for Tyrol and Vorarlberg looks after the west of Austria, the BKS Bank AG the south and the Oberbank the northern federal states of Upper Austria , Lower Austria and Salzburg . Each of these three banks is represented in Vienna . The banks also have branches in Germany , Slovakia , Slovenia , the Czech Republic , Hungary and Switzerland . BKS Bank AG also has representative offices in Italy and Croatia .

The banks mutually participate in the capital of the other banks and use a common corporate design , but are still completely independent.

The 3-Banken group employs around 4,100 people. The total assets together amount to around 34.2 billion euros (2014).
