history

The music 3 Inches of Blood shows the influence of death metal (especially the growling in the vocals), true metal and classic heavy metal . Jamie Hooper sings with high growls, Cam Pipes sings in heavy metal typical falsetto . Lyrically, the songs deal with epic battles, bloodthirsty orcs and the like.

Her song Deadly Sinners is one of the soundtracks of the video games Tony Hawk's Underground 2 , Saints Row 2 and Brütal Legend . The latter also contains the song Destroy The Orcs .

On September 27, 2009, ex-bass player Brian Redman died in a scooter accident. He was only 31 years old. In June 2015 the band announced their breakup.
