The building later housed the Royal Scottish Academy of Music , later the Royal Academy of Music and Drama and now the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland .

description

The edwardian neo-baroque building is the corner house between Buchanan Street and Nelson Mandela Place . It faces St George's Tron Church . The facade of the five-story house along Buchanan Street is five axes, along Nelson Mandela Place three axes. The masonry on the ground floor is rusticated . Another segmented arched gable , whose consoles are designed with lion heads, suspects the portal at Nelson Mandela Place. Above it, a bay window with triple windows protrudes faintly from the facade. It is flanked by twin windows . The facade design of the storey above is largely the same, but the windows are made with stone crosses. There are numerous analogies to the facade along Buchanan Street.
