9th Air Force Field Division

The 9th Air Force Field Division was a military association of the Wehrmacht during the Second World War . It was erected in East Prussia in October 1942 from excess Luftwaffe personnel and was deployed on the German-Soviet front from December 1942 . On September 20, 1943, the division was transferred to the army and renamed Field Division 9 (L).
