16th Air Force Field Division

The 16th Air Force Field Division was a military association of the Wehrmacht during the Second World War. It was set up on December 1, 1942 from excess Luftwaffe personnel on the Groß Born military training area in Pomerania and was used in Western Europe ( Netherlands ; France ) from February 1943 to September 1943 . On September 20, 1943, the division was transferred to the army and renamed the 16th Field Division (L).
