8th Air Force Field Division

The 8th Air Force Field Division was a military association of the Wehrmacht during the Second World War. It was erected on October 29, 1942 from excess Luftwaffe personnel at the Mielau military training area in East Prussia and was deployed on the German-Soviet front from December 1942 to March 1943 . After being almost completely wiped out during the fighting at Taganrog , the division was finally disbanded in May 1943.
