A * M * E (born December 13, 1994 in Freetown , Sierra Leone ; actually Aminata Kabba ) is a British musician , composer and singer-songwriter .
Career
2011 Kabba took the pseudonym "M * A * E" the single Beautiful Stranger on that of f (x) (a K-Pop - girl group ) was produced and entered the Top 20 of the South Korean charts.
On December 9, 2012 she was nominated for the " Sound of 2013 ".
In 2013 she released the single Need U (100%) with the music producer Duke Dumont . The song reached number 1 on the UK singles chart.
Influences and style of music
Musically, A * M * E has been influenced mainly by K-Pop musicians such as Psy and Big Bang .
