May Clark
Mabel "May" Clark (born August 9, 1889 in Kent , † May 31, 1984 in Englewood , New Jersey ) was a British actress .
Life
She originally worked as a film editor and secretary at Hepworth Film Studios . Then she was cast as Alice in the first film version of Alice in Wonderland , which marked the beginning of her acting career. She married Norman Whitten in 1907 and had two sons, Vernon and Kenneth Whitten . Clark died on May 31, 1984 at the age of 94.
