Añelo is the capital of the Añelo Department of the same name in the Neuquén Province in southwest Argentina . It is located 100 kilometers from the provincial capital Neuquén on the left bank of the Río Neuquén . The place belongs to the municipalities of the 2nd category in the classification of municipalities in the province of Neuquén.
