The show's main character, Kobe Hitoshi, is a high school student and an avid computer programmer . He has problems with girls, so he writes computer programs with artificial intelligence that he gives the look of his dream woman. During a thunderstorm night, program number 30 ("Thirty") comes to life when lightning strikes . As intended (in virtual reality ), she loves him in real life too; however, she poses a lot of problems because she has no real world experience and has to laboriously learn. But other programs suddenly lead a strange life of their own. This new development has turned Hitoshi's life completely upside down, as he also has to face his hacker opponent and his monstrous creations.
