A. Erol Göksu

Abdullah Erol Göksu (* 1957 in Karaman , Turkey ) is a Turkish author and songwriter .

Life

Göksu attended elementary and middle school in Karaman. His parents were among the first guest workers in Germany. Göksu was brought to Germany as a child. He obtained a technical diploma and trained as a chemical technician . He then worked in a laboratory .

In his free time he wrote for the Turkish weekly newspaper Anadolu in Bonn a . a. Stories, crosswords, news and photo novels. At a young age he wrote some poems and short stories. Göksu received prizes for his poems and stories. His novels were published in sequels in Turkish daily newspapers such as Türkiye and subsequently as books. His best known song Kır Kahvesi was recorded in interpretations of the pop singers Suat Sayın and Gülden Karaböcek .
