The A916 road is an A-road in the Scottish Council Area Fife .

course

The road begins as a junction from the A914 on the southern edge of Cupar . For around 7.5 km it runs roughly southwards. Here it crosses the sparsely populated regions of Fife and connects various farms to the road network. The A916 is the main road into Craigrothie , where it joins the B939 coming from St Andrews . The course of the A916 then bends to the south-west and leads through the hamlet of Bonnybank . It then forms the main thoroughfare for the villages of Kennoway , Balcurvie and Windygates before the A916 ends at a roundabout south of Windygates. This also forms the end point for the A911 coming from Milnathort . Both roads join the A915 (St Andrews - Kirkcaldy ). The A916 has a total length of 16.1 km.
