The A915 road is an A-road in the Scottish Council Area Fife .

course

The road starts at a roundabout to the north of St Andrews . The A91 (to Bannockburn ) and the A917 (to Upper Largo ) also begin here . It runs west of the city center to the south and leaves the city in a southeast direction. First, the A915 leads through a sparsely populated region of Fife, where it connects numerous individual farms to the road network. After 10.5 km the road reaches the village of Largoward and after a total of 17.5 km Upper Largo, where the A917 joins.

From Lower Largo , the A915 follows the north coast of the Firth of Forth . About Lundin Links , the road leads to Leven , where from Kirkcaldy coming A955 opens. While the A955 runs through the centers of Methil and Buckhaven , the A915 curves north of the cities. At Windygates the road takes on the A911 (from Milnathort ) and the A916 (from Cupar ). Continuing in a south-westerly direction, the A915 finally reaches the eastern edge of Kirkcaldy. There it joins the A921 (Kirkcaldy– Rosyth ) after a total distance of 34.8 m .
