The A91 road ( English for ' A91 road ') is a trunk road in Scotland that connects Bannockburn with St Andrews . It creates an important connection in east-west direction and connects the Hillfoots Villages to the road network.

It begins at an exit of the M9 at Bannockburn in the Stirling Council Area . In Bannockburn it crosses the A9 , leads through Stirling and over the Forth to the Hillfoot Villages at the foot of the Ochil Hills . Leaving Clackmannanshire in an easterly direction, it reaches Perth and Kinross and joins at junction 7 with the M90 heading north, which it leaves again at the next exit. Running in a north-easterly direction, it reaches Fife , where the A91 crosses the A92 west of Bow of Fife . It leads through Cupar and crosses the Eden behind Guardbridge to finally reach St Andrews. The A92 ends at a roundabout in the city center.
